Meet The Team

Dannii joined CKS in November 2023. She is AAT qualified and studying for her ACCA qualification at the moment. She works hard but loves to travel too when on leave.

Director

Andrew started work in 1975 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1984. He joined CKS in 1993 becoming a director a year later. He understands the pressures and demands of running a small business and so can share this knowledge with clients. He enjoys being in business and helping clients to enjoy being in business too. When not working, he likes to raise his eyes to the sky, mostly to look at planes but also to contemplate the issues of the moment. He has a very strong work ethic and believes in helping clients to grow their business. He has always worked hard to provide a quality personal service to his clients.

Director

Jon started work at CKS in 2009 and became a director in April 2018; he is a qualified ACCA accountant. He manages clients on a day to day basis and looks after most of our freelancers. Jon is interested in history and has a degree in Archaeology and Ancient History. When he is not working, Jon enjoys spending time with his young family.

Director

Rachel started work at CKS on leaving college in 2008 and became a director in April 2018; she is a qualified ACCA accountant. She manages clients on a day to day basis and also oversees our payroll services, including auto-enrolment and CIS. Due to her experience with CIS, Rachel manages many of our construction clients. When she is not working, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Director

Rashmi is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He trained and qualified with a firm of Chartered Accountants in Southend-on-Sea, then worked for a twenty-six partner firm in London. Rashmi built his own practice, Alan Rush & Co, which merged with CKS Accountancy in 2015. He is now retired but maintains an office at the firm for occasional consultancy work.

Client and Office Manager

Maureen is a client manager who has been working at CKS for over 30 years. Maureen is responsible for a range of clients who she deals with on a day to day basis. She also deals with all in house training as well as managing the office. Due to Maureen’s knowledge and experience she deals with all Trust and Estate Tax Returns for clients along with a large portfolio of more complex personal Tax Returns.

Lucy started working for CKS in April 2017. She provides payroll, bookkeeping and VAT services for clients as well as being part of the admin team, dealing with company secretarial duties and looking after reception. Lucy has attained her AAT bookkeeping qualification, CIPP qualification and is also Xero, FreeAgent and QuickBooks certified.

Denise is our Company Secretary and helps with both reception and secretarial duties, when needed.

Kate works within the accounts department. She also completes some bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts for clients. She completed her AAT qualification in 2022 and is certified in Xero, FreeAgent and Quickbooks.

Zak joined CKS as an apprentice in October 2022 and is studying towards his AAT level 4 qualification. He works within the accounts department.

Abigail joined CKS in October 2022 as an apprentice and is studying towards her AAT level 4 qualification whilst working within our accounts team. She also works as part of the admin and bookkeeping team with Lucy.
