Should I be a Limited Company?

It often makes sense to run your business through a Limited Company as this gives you more protection on a personal level and will often save tax. You should discuss your situation with us so that we can advise what will be the best business format for you.

Getting Organised

We can help set your business in motion, making sure the right authorities are informed of your new business and that you have completed everything within the law.

Keeping Books

There are many different types of accounting records and we can advise you on the best way to keep your books. We can provide cashbooks for manual record, simple spreadsheets, help with using Sage, Quickbooks, Kashflow, Xero and FreeAgent. We are partnered with both Xero and FreeAgent online accounting software and we can reccommend the right software for you. With the introduction of Making Tax Digital for Business (MTD) in the next two years there will be a need to have a software program which has the ability to communicate with HMRC computers so why not get ahead now.

Paying staff

We have a great payroll team who will help set up everything you need to pay your staff the right money and inform you on any questions about employment which you might have such as contracts, a staff manual, sick pay, maternity and paternity leave and much else. We will prepare weekly or monthly pay records and file this on time with HMRC, as required for the Real Time Information system (RTI). There are monthly penalties for late filing.
